• El Dorado Springs--Missouri Conservation Department is opening a new office.  You can see native fish in a 210-gallon aquarium, view equipment used for consevations projects, tour informative exhibits and meet Smokey Bear.  Oct. 15 (3pm-6pm) & Oct. 16 (9am-2pm) 
• Woodland Stewarship Conference--Nov. 5th & 6th in Nebraska City, Nebraska.  The event give landowners a chance to learn how to manage woodlands and related natural resources.
