BASIC EXPECTATIONS

You are to create a Concept Video. A concept video tells a story that typically will relate to the song lyrics in some way.

For this video, you will choose any school appropriate song (approved by me) and create a music video!!! Your goal is to do the following:

2-4 minute portion of song--edited if needed
Images and/or singing is synchronized with the beat of the music
Steady camera shots with good composition (2 shots from different angles, 3 times the length needed)
Wide variety of shots (think about filming from a different perspective)
Attention paid to background and setting
Transitions and effects used throughout video
Proper crediting (music video style)
MOST OF ALL---be creative and original

Choose your song early and stick with it
Plan what scenes you will film each day in order to get them all filmed in the time allowed
Use your storyboards and stick to them!

Get 2 takes from different angels so when editing you have choices
Make sure your filmer is choosing the best angles to capture the scene in an interesting way

Name your project appropriately before editing
Credits appear in the lower left hand corner at the begninning and end, and they look like this...
                                  Names of project members, commas between
                                  first two lines
                          Song: (title of song capitalized corectly)
                                Artist: (person or group that sings song)
Do not edit in other peoples projects!!!
Ask for help when you need it
