For this project you will not only learn about a famous photographer but take pictures like him or her as well. Upon completion you will produce a poster or powerpoint presentation that tells abourt the photographer and has pictures taken by him/her and yourself.
Their work must have been
published at least in magazines and it would be best to choose one that
has a book or two of their work. Some ideas are Ansel Adams,
William Wegman, Julia Margaret Cameron, or Iain S. Byrne. Your
report must
include facts about their life, information about the photos they take,
why they are famous, and your opinions on some of their photos. After
learning about the photographer, take some photos in their style to
show the class. Links to help you find a
photographer are listed below. DO NOT do a search in google
for photographers. Chose one of the names from these links to
search for
specifically.
You can use the sites I gave you or search for your specific topic on google. Also, the library has lots of books---these are great sources. Be sure to keep track of where you get your info for your bibliography.
