BASIC EXPECTATIONS

For this video, your on-air talent will have the job of reporting a news story with one or more other group members being interviewed as witnesses, subjects, experts, etc.  Your story may be real news rewritten from the paper or internet, school news, entertainment news or even made-up stories. Minimum expectations for this video are:

SUGGESTED TIMELINE

Days 1-2:  Intro to news, Watch samples; Choosing topics

Days3-4: Planning and Writing stories and rehearsing

Days 5-6:  Shooting interviews and supporting footage, finding theme music, getting supporting pictures

Days 7-8:  Finish shooting, start editing video

Days 8-9:  Finish editing, add, transitions, titles and effects

Day 10: Watch and Evaluate
