Digital Photography---the basics

In MS Word, answer the following questions.  Print, and turn in to the box.

  1. List three advantages to using a digital camera over film.

  7. Which is better- more or less mega-pixels in a camera?  Why?

  8. What would be a disadvantage to having a photo with a larger number of mega-pixels?

  9. Whats the difference between optical and digital zoom?  Which is better—why?

  10. Why do some people, especially professional photographers still use film? (think about the  benifits of film)

  11. Draw a diagram of the process of a digital picture (where does it begin?  Then what does it go to next? ect...) —include and label the following:  lens, computer, memory device, light, subject, photographer
