The Willard High NJROTC Armed Exhibition drill team is one of the best in the area. With a more difficult routine than anyother high school in their area, and possibly the country, they consistently place near the top at every Area Nine Drill meet in which they attend. The last two years they have placed second at the Area Nine drill meet in Oklahoma City. Their most recent finish was a fourth place finish at the Area Nine Regional drill meet in Kansas. Their routine features more spins than any other unit, a cadet spinning two rifles at once, and also some precision timing moves. With the high level of difficulty involved in their routine, when they are on hardly anyone can compete with them. |
