Willard High NJROTC is a program that teaches students in Willard High School Discipline, Respect, Courage, Self Confidence, Honor, and Commitment. Cadets learn about military life, as well as everyday skills like orienteering, first aid, health, and physical fittness. Cadets have the chance to compete for promotions, as well as performing jobs that the real military does such as Admin, Supply, Public Affairs, Information and Technology, and Operations. The unit has officers, and is run like the real military. The skills that the cadets learn can help them if they choose to join the military, or if they choose a career in a civilian field. Dedicated cadets come out of the unit as more driven individuals, striving to do their best in everything that they do.
