Carthage Municipal Golf Course.

We will be running a total of five races; Varsity boys – 5k, Varsity girls – 5k, JV boys and girls combined – has usually been 1.5 miles but could be 5k if enough of you are interested in making it a 5k. Only varsity races will be scored with plaques given for the top two teams. Top 15 athletes in each race will receive medals; these will be passed out in the chute. Coaches meeting will be at 3:30 pm and racing will begin at 4:00 pm. We will begin the races as quickly as possible starting with the Varsity boys, then Varsity girls, JV boys and girls combined, and Jr. High boys and girls combined. Scores will be posted and you may pick up your team plaques at the scorer’s table. There will be no award presentation meeting after the meet. We will be on a rolling schedule and try to get the athletes home and out of the heat as soon as we can.

Directions
to Irish Invitational: coming from the I-44 direction, take 65
highway south. Take the Division exit and turn toward the east. Buses will
be asked to park at the Underground on the north side of the course, so go
to the first left once you are on Division and turn left. The first drive
on your left will be where you need to pull in.
