Has data on careers and career outlook for the state of Missouri. Also has specific data for our region of the
state. This data includes projected top
job industries for the future, top paying jobs, etc.
It also has a wealth of other information. From the main site click on the link
“Educators/Students”. It will take you to
a site with a lot of useful information.

– Allows students to select a potential career and obtain numerous
pieces of information concerning that career. A
few of the pieces of info include: a job description for that career,
daily tasks one would carry out, knowledge needed to be successful in
the career, skills and abilities needed to be successful, projected
income and future employment trends, etc.

– This website has a great college navigator tool that allows students
to cross match information about colleges in the region.
Students can find a school with the academic
emphasis, price range, and programs they are interested in. From the main site go to the “School, College,
and Library Search” at the top of the page. Scroll
down and click on “College Navigator”. Once
on the navigator page, click on the “guide me” link in the middle of
the page. It will guide you through the
process.
